Dan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1973, and has kept his parents on their toes, and his older brother looking over his shoulder, ever since. He’s been actively creating artwork of all kinds since his first introduction to crayons and other ‘edible’ mediums.

Although his tools of choice have become a little more sophisticated, and a lot less edible, his desire and passion for creativity hasn’t wavered one bit. Sketching at home, wandering through a museum, or traveling to a foreign country, he’s constantly looking (sometimes in the oddest places) for new forms of inspiration — creative, cultural & personal. This endless search has provided him the opportunity to live in California, Oregon and Colorado before settling in Wilmington, North Carolina where he surfs as much as possible.

In addition to creating his personal artwork, Dan is also the owner and creative director of The Brandit, a graphic design and advertising agency.
